The aim is to inject the energy produced by the photovoltaic installation in distribution company’s network, and sell them 100% of the production according to the rate foreseen in Royal Decree 436/2004 of March 12th and subsequent amendments.
Network connection installations are made up of the following: a photovoltaic field, an inverter, a monitoring system as well as an energy counter as main components and all installations must comply with the Low Voltage Electrotechnical Rules and the Technical Specifications provided by the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDAE).
This type of installations are used for the electrification of isolated houses, pumping, street lighting, etc.
The main components in an isolated photovoltaic solar energy are the photovoltaic modules, regulator, batteries, inverter and a monitoring system.
In the event of electrification of isolated houses, this type of installations are only developed if it is more expensive to bring electrical power through the distribution company than to create an isolated photovoltaic installation for own use, since otherwise it would not be cost-effective.
